The Mythical Overdrive is a low gain overdrive / boost and is considered by many to be amongst the best Klon based pedals available.
 
The pedal has two switchable diode options and both of these have been captured:
 
The SOS ‘Germ’ setting utilises 1N34 (germanium) diodes to offer vintage clipping at lower gain settings (the germanium diodes provide warm tube amp like breakup) whilst the SOS ‘Sili’ setting utilises OA128 (silicon) NOS German Telefunken diodes that clip at higher gain setting allowing for more headroom and an increased boost. The differences are subtle but the extra versatility is certainly more than welcome.
